It's made to survive sun, rain, and rough fairways, unlike a regular paper label, which peels and fades within weeks. Most inkjet and laser printers handle it fine; just make sure the finish is rated for outdoor use.

Not always — PDGA rules only allow three things on a disc after it leaves the factory: wear from play, moderate sanding for wear or small imperfections, and marking with dye or permanent ink. A stuck-on sticker or a decorative engraving both fall outside that list, so neither is safe for sanctioned rounds. Ink is the exception — which is exactly what your Master QR code is for: stamp it on instead. It points to your whole profile rather than one disc, so a single custom stamp covers your entire bag — far cheaper than a sticker for every disc, too.
